These are more pictures from our vacation a week ago. We spent this entire weekend moving, and let me tell you, I wish I was back at my poolside oasis. (BTW how fabulous is our friends’ backyard and their precious dog Charlie?) It was an absolutely exhausting weekend, but I am so so happy about our house. It is beautiful, and we’re turning it into our own. Also, my parents came in town to help out with the move, so that made the weekend that much better! Now I just need to gear up for the week…hope it’s a great Monday!
Swimsuit-Pitaya, I can’t find it online, but here’s a very similar one!; Cover-up-c/o Sheinside; Clutch-Love This!; Necklace-Sam Moon, You can buy your state here!; Bar Ring-Milk and Honey; Thin Ring-c/o Born Pretty Accessories; Sunnies-Similar, Only $8!
I love that there are so many stylish one pieces on the market these days! When I found this one at Pitaya here in Dallas, I snatched it up immediately. I felt so classy in it but still very sexy. I still love a good bikini, but there’s something about a one piece that feels extra ladylike. Not to mention, it’s pretty great eating all you want on vacation and not showing off your stomach after.
I’m back you guys! My husband and I had the most amazing vacation! Thank you so much for your patience as I took a break from blogging. This week I’ll be sharing
photos outfits from our trip, starting off with this adorable cover-up. Stop by Wednesday to see the awesome bathing suit it’s covering up!
The first half of our trip was at Universal Studios. The park, the resort, and Harry Potter World was incredible. For any fans out there, I highly recommend you go! They are in the process of building a second section for Harry Potter World, and it will be ready this Summer, so book your trip after that so you can experience all of it.
We spent the second half of our trip with our amazing friends Brent and Christy, and could not have enjoyed ourselves more. We feel so blessed to be friends with them, and they were the most amazing hosts.
We got back in town Saturday and got to see our new house with all of the new paint colors! We had it painted while we were out of town, so I was so excited to see the finished product! We chose all of our colors from the HGTV Home Collection, Coastal Cool. I really wanted a very beachy, relaxing feel in our home. Hopefully I’ll achieve that as we decorate the house. I plan to share pictures as the house comes together.
Happy Friday my friends!! I have a fantastic weekend and week ahead of me. One of my best friends is in town from Nashville this weekend. We have lots of shopping on the schedule, naturally.
Next week, I’ll be taking a little break from blogging as my husband and I will be on vacay. We’re heading to Orlando to visit Universal Studios and more importantly, Harry Potter World. I’m a huge fan of Harry Potter and I am pumped! I’m so glad I get to enjoy the park with my husband. But it won’t be all Harry Potter, for his sake ;)…we also plan on relaxing by the pool at the resort, and we have great friends in Orlando that we’ll be spending time with! Make sure to follow me on Instagram to see pics from our trip!
I hope you have a fantastic weekend!
I will pretty much buy any shirt I find that is long enough to wear with leggings. They are so hard to come by, so when I found this one with sheer sleeves and a quirky saying at a boutique in Nashville, I scooped it up. I’m not sure what kind of statement I’m making, but I like it.
On another note, my husband and I closed on a house yesterday! We are so grateful to God for blessing us with our new home, and we could not be more excited. I’m debating putting pics up on the blog once we get it decorated. Would you be interested in seeing our home?
Two weeks ago my dear friend Sooae and I hosted a Dallas Blogger social at Pouf Blowout Salon. It was a fabulously girly night with delicious treats from Tart Bakery and a raffle in which girls won gift cards to Movida Boutique. The proceed benefitted the Genesis Women’s Shelter. We were absolutely thrilled with the turn out and more than that, everyone had an amazing time! I wanted to share some of the photos with you… I met some amazing bloggers that live near me, and I made some great friends.

I pulled some fabulous pieces from Nordstrom, ShopBop, and One Stop Plus to put together this dreamy Spring outfit! I want to wear this outfit on a boat or riding my bike through the park. This outfit feels pretty perfect to usher in Spring. I hope it inspires you! Have a great weekend!
Dress-c/o Sheinside; Blazer-Random Boutique, I love this one; Wedges-Similar; Tassel Necklace-Here; Ring-Similar; Midi Ring-c/o Born Pretty Accessories; Spike Bangle-Chic Couture Online; Gold Cluster Bracelet-c/o PersunMall; Gold Bracelet-Kate Spade
I’ve wanted a black maxi for a while. It’s so versatile and can be worn dressy with a blazer, or casual with a big sweater or cardigan. I love the fit and length of this one from Sheinside. It is short enough that I can wear it with sandals on a Summer day out at about or when I travel. I can also dress it up with wedges or heels for a night out. I love that the back has some cutouts, giving the dress a little extra detail of interest!
